About FUVC
FUVC’s purpose is to promote volleyball in a social and competitive state. We make sure we achieve this by allowing members to participate in social trainings, organising with centres for members to play social league as well as giving players the chance to compete in Volleyball SA’s State League Competition.
The club participates in social competitions such as the Sunday and Monday night competition at the Marion Leisure Centre YMCA and, more recently, the Wednesday night competition at the Blackwood Recreation Centre. Additionally, the club also participates in University Games (SA Challenge, SUG, AUG).
The club itself offers a range of social events and merchandise to help promote the club and potentially gain members while also providing a fun atmosphere for the current members. These events are:
- Pubcrawls.
- Quiz Nights.
- Come and Try Days.
- Team Bonding Nights.
